Househunting

The last few days have been consumed with househunting, so new things have been saying "do you think we could get a double bed in here?" "this is a lovely space" and "the vendors have done a great job" in different houses.

Having said that on Wednesday, our new thing was going to Victoria Park Children's Centre for a massage session for babies and yesterday, going to the See Woo Chinese supermarket in Reading to stock up on firm favourites such as prawn crackers (I bought a year's supply which was cheaper than one bag in the takeaway), soy sauce (to make my son's hair darker ;-) ) and noodles.

SHaw House

New thing yesterday was the upstairs of the beautiful SHaw House.

Wednesday

Took little man to a mother and baby group for the first time. Hugely enjoyable (for me anyway!)

Read a book called Midwife on Call...

Monday

Les petits mouchoirs.....not a brilliant film but pretty to look at. I have wanderlust now - a holiday to the south of France would be most welcome!!

Our next house will be a lot more colourful!

Loving this colourful house - it's a bit feminine so I wonder whether MrM will allow a simliar scheme in our next home?!

Mamma Mia

The home of the designer of the Mamma Mia film set. I am looking at new sofas and am taken with the first one with this Good Housekeeping Spread. The less exciting one looks like a cleaner version of the one we already have!
