The home of William MOrris - Lord Nuffield. A beautiful, though not ostentious, home of one of the most generous philanthropists this country has ever seen! The house has only recently joined the National Trust and is furnished inside with 30s pieces and boasts relaxing gardens.

28. The Entertainer shop in town - nice to have a toyshop in town, but more wooden toys (and apostophes where appropriate) would be good.

4. Flight home - 12 hours so time to watch: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (cute), Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (boring!) and Wanderlust (facile, but some interesting thoughts on consumerism).

5. Ikea in SOuthampton to buy a highchair - an endeavour that took 6 hours!

1. The local hospital again but a new doctor and a new room this time....


2. Curb your enthusiasm series one - how can I not have seen this before? And...BLISS...there are seven more series!

3. A new room at the Hatchet.

4. Greenham Business Park office.

5. Madagascar - in my defence, it was raining.

6. A day nursery for the baby.

7. Headley Body Shop to fix the van. I couldn't find the entrance though.

8. Stourhead! Beautiful.

9. The Breakfast Club. Not as good as I thought it would be - perhaps I should have watched it 20 years ago.

10/11. Flight - new plane!!


12. HSBC in Mei Foo.

13. Rapee Living! WOrst named shop ever!

14. Playroom at Royal HK Jockey Club

15. A tour of my mum's office! Then a fabulous seafood place in Central.

16. Mum's friend's house and then a fab platter of sushi at a Mei Foo Japanese restaurant.

17. TST camera shop and the iSquare Mall

18. A shopping centre and tour of Wong Dai Sin (got lost - turned out guide book was wrong) and then more sushi at Genki Sushi where all seven waitresses looked after the McBaby.

19. SHops at Elements Mall including the Kelly Brown coffee shop.

20. Picasso museum, Shatin shops and MosBUrger!

21. The Landmark and then Harrington's restaurant.

22. Gap in Centralk, then Pacific Coffee (where no one helped me lift the baby up the massive flight of stairs) and a flower shop.

23. Dragonboat racing! Then my cousin's new house in Quarry Bay.

24. Pop up shop and took the McBaby to a playground.

25. Bus to the peak and shops there as well as Tsui Wah restaurant

26. SHam Shui Po - an epic walk!

27. Disatrous day out at the OCean Terminal and then City Super.

28. Centreal shops again and bus to Chi Fu Fa Yuen to see a friend and their new flat.

29. Lunch at Lai Chi Kok in a restaurant where they'd sold out of food. Then Jusco before walking round the stunning new housing development there. Rhine Garden restaurant -amazing food and then a lift home in friend's new car.
