Monday, 19th

I went into the kitchen of the nursery, and really wish I hadn't....



Tuesday, 20th

Newbury Manor Hotel - I've been here before, but not into the conservatory. We had a meal in here, where it rained onto the table. And a staff member didn't do my self esteem much good when I was looking for a mirror (because my nose is running so much) and asked me if I was ok. 'Just looking for the loo' I said. "It's over there right opposite your room," she said with so much sarcasm that she almost did the tongue in chin sign of stupidity.


Wednesday, 21st

McBaby and I were looking for a book in Waterstones which necessitated an exciting journey in the lift. Only to find that the upstairs till was closed.


Thursday, 22nd

Went in the wrong door (there's a theme here) at St Barts for an event which was abruptly curtailed by a power cut, meaning everyone had to pack up in the dark. (And I had to go outside in the howling wind and driving rain four times to see if MrM's power cable was in my car at 1am, but that's another story).

Basildon Village Hall for McBaby to scream in Santa's face...

A nose around St Gabriel's School as they take boys from the age of three to seven....

Monday 12th
Ecchinswell to collect something from EBay. What a great village!

Tuesday, 13th
This sounds like a boring day, but my new thing was viewing a house in Aldbourne. However, MrM went to Buckingham Palace and chatted to the Queen!

Wednesday, 14th
Another house viewing and a wander through nearby fields. I also looked after my friend's daughter for the first time.

Thursday, 15th
Torr Fashion in Parkway. Lots of lovely things in here; well done me for not spending anything!

Friday, 16th
A board room at the Hilton for a networking meeting. My new PR business is GO! Just need a name now!

Saturday, 17th
A back room at the Sally Army!

Sunday, 18th
Wow, nearly got into a silo at Greenham COmmon while checking out a boot sale. Was told very gently by a steward that it was off limits!

There's a new Gregg's in town!

Dunelm Mill! Enormous and complete with coffee shop!!

Just Learning and also the garden of a house I've been thinking about.

Saturday, 10th
Brockhurst and Marlston School, ostensibly for a Christmas craft fair, but really to check it out for the McBaby. Not quite as good as I thought would be. Eton it is then.

The car park at Parkway - never been here before. Nearly got knocked over twice by texting women. Won't park(way) here again!

Downstairs bathroom at my friend's house. I need a life.
