Hotdesking!
Why didn't I think of this before? As our new broadband is taking ages, I had to find a temporary office and heard of this place called Regus where you can borrow a desk for the day, complete with tea/coffee, magazines and wifi. I got LOADS done!!
Tuesday
More hotdesking, this time at Greenham Business Park in a lovely, sunny office I'd not been into before.
Wednesday
The Chequers in Wooburn Green and although we've been here before, this time we were in the very nice restaurant for my last ever Christmas party!
Thursday
Woodspeen Manor for a networking event. What an amazing venue! Instead of promoting my new business, I just kept telling everyone that I had house envy and that our house could easily fit into the hallway.
Friday
Had to pick up a parcel from Swift Couriers in Hambridge Lane in the pouring rain (which all rhymes). It turned out to be a smashing prize that I'd won in a competition with Moneysupermarket!
Saturday
I've been to New Greenham Arts before but today's new thing was going into the office and into studio 2 in preparation for the little man's birthday party. Great venue for it - lots of parking and space.
Sunday
A quick coffee from a cafe I'd not been to before at Clackett Lane services on our way to Canterbury.

I followed someone who "knew the way" and ended up going round in circles in hitherto unexplored parts of the Dorset countryside for a big birthday lunch.

An office at MrM's work.
Wednesday, 28th
A talk at the Watermill on Ronnie Biggs by his ghost writer Chris Pickard. Absolutely brilliant and very funny talk. Love him or hate him, Biggs has had the most incredible life.
What I learned about him was that he only got into the train robbery by accident as the gang was looking for someone who could drive a train and he happened to be working as a builder for one. Amazingly, he got involved because he needed £500. A couple of days prior to the robbery, he won £500 on the horses, but didn't want to let the gang down, so went ahead anyway. The other incredible fact was that his brother died the day before, so while he was on the train, his wife needed to get hold of him urgently and contacted the police to find him!
Thursday, 29th
Had a meeting in Yeovil with someone who tried to escape before I arrived. But hah, I foiled him and was there 10 minutes early so I had to disappear in his car with him to his other business. WHile we were gone, they found a 6inch screw in one of my tyres, so I was grateful for that! Then I popped out for a takeaway to Amin's in Wincanton for my dad's birthday.

New room at chiropractor's. If you see me in real life, ask me to tell you how many pairs of pants I wore for this appointment, why I did this, and what went wrong. Ahem.
