2013!

I can't quite believe 2012 is over! It just flew by - last time I looked, it was February. Is it because I'm getting old or because I spent the year getting to know my newborn? Newborn, schnewborn - he's now a year old!

There have been a lot of changes so as part of my new thing every day, I'm going to publicly state how much I've spent. It should read £0, so shout at me if it doesn't!

December 2012

I can't find my diary and who cares now? We should be looking forward to 2013, not backwards!

22nd: We took a new route down to Cornwall!

23rd: Polzeath beach and Lidl in Wadebridge (don't ask!)

24th:Padstow! Never been here before but will definitely be back - it's beautiful. Checked out my sister's two shops here and enjoyed a pint in the Ship Inn (where McBaby flirted with a little girl for 45 minutes) and a bit of gorgeous walnut bread from the Chough bakery.

25th: A very quiet Christmas with a pre-lunch walk at Mawgan Porth.

26th: The SNowman and the Snowdog

27th: Lots of traffic so cut through Bath and stopped off near Weston-super-nightmare

28th: Was meant to go to a funeral, but McBaby was ill, so I took him to a shop we'd not been to before.

29th: The re-furbed Royal Oak in Ecchinswell. Lovely meal with family in a side room that we shared with that chap off BBC Breakfast!

30th: A walk around Silchester to blow away the cobwebs before stopping off at the Calleva Arms.

31st: The Green Dragon in Marlborough.
