Saturday, 9th

New thing today was visiting the famous Zoe of Zoe's farm - who held an open day to show people around her small holding. Zoe is trying to live sustainably on her own plot of land near the M4 but is facing eviction by West Berkshire Council.

All she wants to do is live on the land. Instead of trying to evict her from her own land, the council should be holding her up as an example of how to live with as little environmental impact as possible.

I think the epetition is closed, but the appeal is coming up, so do support her if you agree. Thanks

McBaby meets another kid at Zoe's farm.

Sunday, 10th

A bit lame, but a very busy day so new thing was buying one of those pre-made vodka and tonics from the supermarket. I've decided to stop drinking - at least at home and midweek, so thought I'd drink something horrible to put me off.

The new Save the Children shop!

Friday, 1st March

More lameness. Was lent a car by someone so new thing was driving it (to the car wash!)

New thing was the Scout hut in Tilehurst for their boot sale. AND I DIDN'T BUY ANYTHING!!

Sunday, 3rd March

A lovely walk and run (fartlek) along the canal near Pewsey before stopping off at the wonderful Barge Inn in Honey street. A lovely pub, nice staff and customers, great food - reasonably priced. If that hasn't sold it, you need to know that Reg Presley from the Troggs used to drink here...
